Which lid fits a 12 oz cup
A 12 oz cup sits on a Φ90mm rim, and so do the 10 oz, 16 oz and 20 oz. One Φ90 lid SKU covers all four capacities, which is the single biggest reason to standardise a hot programme on this rim. Put the diameter on the purchase order, not just the ounce label.

12 oz cup dimensions across three builds
All three sit on the same Φ90mm rim at the same 110mm height and take the same lid. They differ in wall construction, which changes insulation and how many fit in a box.

Lightest and lowest cost. Pair with a sleeve, since 12 oz of hot coffee is past comfortable to hold.

Corrugated outer for grip and insulation. Reads as premium, particularly on kraft board.
All three builds measure Φ90mm (3.54") at the rim, 58mm (2.28") at the base and 110mm (4.33") tall. Single wall 12 oz ships 1,000 per box in a 460×370×445mm case at roughly 12kg gross. Double wall and ripple wall both ship 500 per box. Dimensions are nominal and can vary by about 2mm.

Coating by serving temperature
The decision that fails loudest if you get it wrong, because it shows up as a soft cup halfway through service rather than on the spec sheet.
PE
Hot drinks to 95°C
The default hot-cup barrier and the lowest cost. Not compostable, and not recyclable in most paper streams.
PLA
Cold and warm to 45°C
Plant-based. Softens above 55°C, so it is not a hot-coffee coating. Use CPLA lids if the program is compostable end to end.
Aqueous
Hot drinks
A water-based dispersion instead of a plastic film. Specified microwave tolerant, since there is no plastic film to soften or delaminate — test report on request, per size. Runs about 15% over a like-for-like PE cup.
