What restaurant operators tell us

Three packaging challenges every restaurant operator faces

🔄

Inconsistent packaging across locations

Multi-location restaurants and franchise operators face a common problem: different sites ordering from different suppliers, resulting in mismatched cup sizes, colours, and print quality. Customers notice. Brand standards erode. Centralising your packaging supply solves this — but only if your supplier can handle the volume and consistency.

🌡️

Packaging that fails under real service conditions

A cup that leaks when filled with 90°C coffee, a container that collapses under a heavy portion, a lid that pops off in a delivery bag — these are not minor inconveniences. They generate complaints, waste, and refunds. You need packaging that has been tested under the conditions your kitchen actually operates in.

📜

Compliance pressure from retailers and councils

Single-use plastics legislation is tightening across the EU, UK, Australia, and North America. Retailers and food courts increasingly require plastic-free or compostable packaging from their tenants. Staying ahead of these requirements — and having the documentation to prove it — is becoming a procurement priority, not an afterthought.

Why CupsPak

What makes us the right supplier for restaurants

Consistent quality, every production run

Consistent materials, consistent specifications, consistent quality — every order. We maintain strict production standards so your packaging looks and performs the same whether it's your first shipment or your fiftieth.

🖨️

Brand-consistent printing across all SKUs

Up to 7-colour printing with Pantone colour matching. We adapt your brand guidelines to every cup size and container format, so your packaging looks unified across your entire range.

🔬

Tested under real service conditions

Hot-fill leakage test at 90°C+, cold-fill test at 0–5°C, structural integrity under load, and print adhesion testing. We test the way your kitchen uses packaging — not just in a lab.

🌿

Low-plastic and compostable options

Aqueous-coated cups (widely recyclable, no plastic film), PLA-coated compostable cups, and certified paperboard. Supplier declarations and material safety data provided for your compliance records.

📦

Consolidated shipments for multi-SKU orders

One order, one shipment, one set of documents — everything your kitchen needs, coordinated by a single point of contact. Reduces procurement complexity for multi-location operators.

15–25 day production lead time

Faster than most suppliers. We maintain raw material stock and optimise production scheduling to meet your reorder cycle — not the other way around.

Common questions

Frequently asked by restaurant operators

Yes. We supply paper cups (single wall, double wall, ripple wall), paper bowls, bento boxes, food trays, paper bags, cup lids, and cup sleeves. All products can be custom printed with your brand. Ordering your full range from one supplier simplifies procurement, reduces freight costs, and ensures brand consistency across all formats.
The most common sizes for QSR are 12 oz, 16 oz, 22 oz, and 32 oz for cold drinks, and 8 oz, 12 oz, and 16 oz for hot beverages. We recommend confirming your cup-to-lid diameter compatibility before ordering — we can advise on standard diameter pairings and supply matching lids.
Yes. All our hot-drink cups are tested with liquid at 90°C+ for a minimum of 5 minutes before shipment. Cold-fill containers are tested at 0–5°C for 10 minutes. We also test structural integrity under load and print adhesion after filling. Test reports are available on request.
We offer two main eco options: (1) Aqueous-coated cups — water-based barrier applied directly to the board, no plastic film to separate, accepted in standard paper recycling streams in many markets. (2) PLA-coated cups — plant-based bioplastic lining, compostable in industrial composting facilities. To be precise about the wording: neither is plastic-free. Aqueous is a low-plastic build (the dispersion is itself a polymer) and PLA is a bioplastic, so EU orders still carry the single-use plastics marking. Both are available with custom printing, and we provide material declarations for your compliance records.
Yes. We supply restaurant groups and franchise operators at scale — with over 1 billion pieces produced annually across all product categories. For large accounts, we can discuss blanket orders with scheduled releases, consignment stock arrangements, and dedicated production slots. Contact us to discuss your volume and delivery schedule.
MOQ is 20,000 pieces per item (size + design combination). For a restaurant ordering 4 cup sizes and 2 container formats, that's 20,000 pieces per SKU — 120,000 pieces total. We don't require a minimum spend across your full order, and we can consolidate all SKUs into a single shipment.
We use Pantone colour matching for all custom print jobs and retain your approved colour profile on file. Each new production run begins with a colour check against the approved standard before full production starts. We also retain a sealed reference sample from each run for comparison.
We provide food-contact supplier declarations, material safety data, and AQL inspection reports. These documents are accepted by most retail landlords, food court operators, and council procurement teams. Contact us to discuss the specific documentation your procurement team requires.
